I have had the great fortune of working on some truly inspiring projects around the U.S while networking with many influential and creative individuals along the way.For the last 20 years I have self taught myself all platforms of art and contributed my talents when I can. I believe in the power of working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts by recognizing there is creativity in everyone.
As resident of Durham NC, I will continue to grow and shift for my family, children and community so that my art stays alive and maintains a level of excellence as our city continues to grow, so must we.

I aspire for each work to tell a story as I fill the canvas with fields of color, shapes and texture. I aim to preserve the purity and innocence of life in my work. No matter how simple the components of each piece may seem, they symbolize relationships, community issues, or matters close to the heart. This underlying tale is often alluded to in the title I choose.
My goal is that my art will communicate peace and refreshment. I hope my audience will find echoes of places or relationships they’ve experienced or imagined. For me, creating art is an emotional and intellectual experience, an intense voyage of self-expression welcoming viewers to engage in their own journey.
